Using the Big Game as a Teaching Tool

Central Elementary has a new 'Super' way to teach
CABOT, AR -- Central Elementary in Cabot is transforming pre-kindergarten classrooms to shades of Broncos and Seahawks.

It's proving to be more than just fandom, with the teachers are using the Super Bowl to teach kids lessons.  In Kandance Hardcastle's class it was all about the Denver Broncos. The students learned about the letter 'B'.

Ms. Hardcastle said the students love the new way of teaching

"They really pick up on fun, new, different things," she said. "Everything we do, we revolve it this week around the Broncos, and they've really just taken that and run with it."

Ms. Hardcastle wasn't the only room decorated, and it wasn't all about the Broncos, as other classrooms chose to root for the Seahawks.
