Volunteers Clean Up Camp Robinson

Volunteers spend four days cleaning tornado debris from Camp Robinson.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help clean up tornado debris at the "Camp Robinson Special Use Area."

People spent the last four days cleaning up the facility to prepare it for use.

They say the water and electricity is still out after the April tornado.

The storm destroyed the club house which was frequently used by several different organizations.

Volunteer Ray Nowell says the loss of the club house means loss of revenue.

"The clubhouse does not just affect just this local area, but I mean there's tax dollars that won't be spent that effects the whole state," said Nowell.

He says at this point, there is no word if they will rebuild the club house, but it will be a huge loss to the local economy if it isn't.
