Hot End to Summer

The last weekend of Summer feeling like Summer with highs near 90. A front brings a couple of storms for Sunday followed by a cool down for the official beginning of Fall.
It's going to be a hot last day of Summer! Highs will reach the lower 90s for Sunday afternoon before a cold front heads into the region. This front will bring the possibility of a few showers and storms along with it, especially for South Arkansas. Some of the storms may be strong to severe. Cooler and drier air will arrive for the first day of Fall which is Monday. Highs will be in the upper 70s with sunshine. Lows will dip into the 50s for the overnight hours. Temperatures will gradually warm up into the 80s for the end of the week with no rain expected.

  
Saturday Night: Mostly clear and a bit muggy. Lows in the the upper 60s to around 70. 
Sunday: Partly cloudy with an isolated afternoon thunderstorm. Highs in the lower 90s.
Monday: Mostly sunny and less humid. Highs in the upper 70s.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s
Wednesday: Partly cloudy with highs in the lower 80s. 
Thursday: Partly sunny with highs in the low to mid 80s. 
Friday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 80s. 
Saturday: Partly cloudy with highs in the lower 80s.
