Winter Weather Doesn't Help Pothole Issue

Wreck's aren't the only problem caused by winter weather.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Many Arkansans are having to get theier cars fixed after wrecks during last Friday's snow.
But that's not the only problem caused by winter weather.

Potholes are becoming a major issue around Central Arkansas. After several rounds of wintery weather, potholes can get worse, especially the more travelled areas. It can take days for road crews to be able to get them fixed.

But the city of Little Rock says crews are out and about repairing the roads.

"The city's got extra crews out, working on potholes this week, I've got 5 crews running today, normally we have around two, we encourage citizens who see potholes to call them in, we're working to fix them as fast as we can find them and get them repaired," says Ronnie Loe from Little Rock's Public Works.

If you see a pothole please call 3-1-1 and report the location.
