Ice Patches Keeping Some Neighborhoods Cautious

Neighbors on Country Club Boulevard in the Heights say they are taking it easy because of the sheets of ice that remain on the road.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Many of the state's highways and highly-traveled streets have thawed out by now, but not all roads are free of ice just yet.

Neighbors on Country Club Boulevard in the Heights say they are taking it easy because of the sheets of ice that remain on the road.

Although there are only a few patches of ice here and there, it's enough to keep citizens cautious.

"I bought a can of vegetables and fruits so that we wouldn't get out of the house, so we stayed," says Sam Nichol. "I think we're going to put a generator in soon."

Many neighbors say they even contracted cabin fever.
