Little Rock Police say the teen faces charges in a 2013 incident.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - The search has ended for a juvenile that police wanted to question on Tuesday which prompted lockdowns at two city schools.

The teen turned himself in this morning at the Little Rock Police Department.

On Tuesday, police said the unnamed boy is wanted for attempted capital murder and armed robbery in a 2013 incident.

Police wanted to question him before releasing any information about the case in which he faces charges.

School Resource Officers (SRO) at Hall High pulled the wanted teen out of class Tueaday afternoon after getting a call from detectives.

The SROs then waited for detectives to arrive. Before they could get there, the teen was able to get his handcuffs to the front, jump down some stairs to get out of the building and then off the campus.

Police say Forest Heights and Hall went on voluntary lockdown and the school district followed their protocol for such incidents.
