Man Arrested After Fight, Shooting in Hot Springs Friday

The shooting happened Friday morning around 11:00 a.m.

HOT SPRINGS -- A man is recovering after being shot in the hand and the abdomen Friday, another man is in custody.

According to KLRT Content Partner Hot Springs Daily, the shooting occurred in the 100 block of Pullman Street around 11:00 a.m..

26-year-old Shantell Henry was shot once in the abdomen area and in the right hand while he allegedly struggled with another man over a handgun.

The victim drove himself across the street to a gas station.

Hot Springs Police arrested 25-year-old Anthony Taron Smith a few blocks away without incident.
