Small Earthquake Detected in Eastern Arkansas

The 2.6 magnitude quake took place shortly after 6:00 a.m. Sunday.

MANILA, AR -- A small earthquake has been reported in eastern Arkansas.

The U.S. Geological Survey registered a 2.6 magnitude quake about three miles southeast of Manila.

It happened at 6:20 this morning.

The center of the quake was about four miles underground, according to the USGS.
