Little Rock Homicide Victim Identified

Police say Jermaine Humphrey, 24, suffered a gunshot to the head after a fight on Monday night.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Little Rock Police Department has released the name of a man who was shot and killed last night.

Police say Jermaine Humphrey, 24, died after an argument ended in gunfire around 8:30 outside a home on W. 31st St. near the intersection with Cross St. Humphrey suffered a wound to the head, according to the incident report.

He and a suspect had been inside the house and then ran into the street, the report also stated.

Police say the suspect in the case is Rodterius Gardner, 20, of Little Rock. As of Tuesday afternoon, he had not been arrested.

Witnesses told police the victim had been at the scene to resolve an issue over a woman.
