Natural State Jackpot Hits $180K

The jackpot has been won 18 times since the game began in August of last year.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Big money could be yours in tonight's drawing of the Natural State Jackpot (NSJ).

The jackpot has been building since September 23 and is up to $180,000.

The last winning jackpot was hit on September 21, when Daniel Beeson of North Little Rock bought a lucky ticket at the Superstop 66 in North Little Rock and won $145,000.

NSJ is similar to Powerball®, Mega Millions®, and Decades of Dollars. Players choose five numbers between one and 39 and can play the same numbers for up to 20 consecutive draws. Each play costs $1.

Players matching two numbers will win $1; three numbers win $7; four matching numbers win $300, and all five numbers will win the jackpot, guaranteed to be worth at least $25,000. Each night in which there is no big winner, an additional $5,000 is added to the jackpot. If there is more than one jackpot winner, the prize will be equally divided among all the jackpot prize winners. The odds of winning any prize are one in nine, according to ASL officials.
