North Little Rock Woman Stabbed to Death

Police say the suspect, who had blood on his clothing, was arrested soon after the Monday night homicide.
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police are investigating a stabbing incident that left a woman dead.

It happened shortly after 10:00 Monday night in the 2900 block of E. 2nd St.

When police arrived they found Jada Young, 40, lying in the front yard of a home with several stab wounds.

She was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.

Police say Johnny Davis, 56, who left the scene before officers arrived, was later found in the area of 3000 E. Lincoln with blood on his clothing and was arrested in the case.

He is charged with 1st degree murder. His arrest record on the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility website notes a "hold for parole."
