People Prepping for Winter Weather

Folks Flocking to Grocery Stores for the Essentials
Little Rock, AR - Much of the Natural State is bracing for a winter weather storm over the next 48 hours, and plenty of people are packing into local grocery stores.  The Food Giant in downtown Little Rock saw large crowds for much of Wednesday afternoon with shoppers targeting the bread, milk, and egg aisle.

Jody Townsley was buying extra eggs, she said, "We are making sure we have enough until next Monday, at least, of the bare necessities."

David Poynter was enjoying a mild night in the River Market district on Wednesday, but he knew the days ahead would require work, "You need to be prepared when it hits, and that's why I'll be prepared and I won't have to leave the house."

The Food Giant manager said he ordered extra bread to make sure his aisles are fulling stocked.
