Update: Pine Bluff Police Search for 2 Suspects in Connection to Homicide

24-year-old Terrance Brooks died after being shot shortly before 3 p.m.
PINE BLUFF, AR -- Pine Bluff police are searching for two men wanted for capital murder in connection to a shooting death that occurred Saturday.

Markevious White and Joseph Campbell, both 20 years old, are suspected to be responsible for the murder of 24-year-old Terrance Brooks.

White is described as black male with black hair and brown eyes and stands 6-foot-2.

Campbell, AKA "Jo-Jo," is a black male with black hair, brown eyes, weighs about 150 pounds and is 5-foot-10.

Police consider both White and Campbell to be armed and dangerous.

Law enforcement previously said they were searching for a gray vehicle they suspected the two men may have left in. They have since located the vehicle, and it is unknown at this time what type of transportation the suspects are using.

PINE BLUFF, AR -- A man is dead after a shooting in Pine Bluff on Saturday afternoon, and police are still looking for a suspect.

Terrance Brooks, 24, was shot shortly before 3 p.m. in the 2000 block of West 29th.

Witnesses tell investigators Brooks and another person had been fighting.

Shots were fired and Brooks was struck.

An unknown male left the scene running on foot. 

Brooks was found by police in a vehicle.

He was taken to a Pine Bluff hospital and pronounced dead shortly after 7 p.m.

The unknown male left the scene running on foot. 

The suspect may have gotten into a grey vehicle down the street from the scene.

Motive for the shooting has not been determined.

Detectives are following up with witnesses and the incident is still under investigation.
