Pine Bluff Police Investigating Double Homicide

Pine Bluff police responded to a shots fired call around 8:50 p.m. Wednesday night.
PINE BLUFF, AR -- Law enforcement officials have confirmed they are investigating a double homicide.

Pine Bluff police responded to a shots fired call around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday night, according to reports. Upon arrival, officers found two males in a red passenger car on Locust Street.

Upon further investigation, it appeared both men had been killed by gunfire. Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelley pronounced the driver dead at 9:11 p.m. and the passenger dead at 9:12 p.m.

Police have not identified the victims. Officials will release names once next of kin has been notified.

Currently, a motive has not been determined and there are no suspects as police continue their investigation.
