Report: Arkansas Losing Defensive Coordinator

Reports surfaced Tuesday that Arkansas defensive coordinator Chris Ash is leaving the Razorback football program to join the Ohio State football staff as co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR - Reports surfaced Tuesday that Arkansas defensive coordinator Chris Ash is leaving the Razorback football program to join the Ohio State football staff as co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach.

Ash leaves the Razorbacks after serving only one season under Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema in Fayetteville.  Prior to that, Ash was the defensive coordinator at Wisconsin in 2011 and 2012. 

According to the reports, the announcement of the hire at Ohio State will be made later this week.

Just after noon on Tuesday Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema posted this on his twitter account.

"Have always felt transition on my staff has allowed us to get even better. Have had success hiring right people and will again"
