Run Held To Honor Late Little Rock Philanthropist

Light the Night Run remembers Jennings Osborne.
LITTLE ROCK, AR-- Saturday, Little Rock hosted the third annual Light the Night Run.

The race is in memory of philanthropist Jennings Osborne, who runners say inspired the community to be better people.

"He was a good, kind, and gentle person," said Mitzi Osborne, Jennings' widow.

Even the animals came out to witness peace and harmony through a simple run along Little Rock streets.

"It tells me a lot about the spirit if the community," said runner Leah Thorvilson.
