Springdale Police Looking for Woman Suspected of Shooting Husband

SPRINGDALE,AR (KNWA) - Police are looking for a woman they say shot her husband in the face the day after Thanksgiving.

On November 29 around 1:40 p.m., police got a call about a shooting at 1407 Jennifer. Officers found Robin Phillips with a cut on her neck and her husband, James Phillips, with a gunshot to his face. Their 16-year-old son was also home, but he was unharmed.

The couple told police they had gotten into an argument, which ended with the woman firing a semi-automatic pistol at her husband. Police said she cut her own neck after shooting him.

Both were taken to the hospital and have since been released. The case was turned over to the Washington County Prosecutor's Office and a warrant was issued for Robin Phillips.

Police have not been able to find her and are asking anyone with information to call (479) 750-4484. 

Phillips is 5'4" tall and weighs about 130 pounds.
