Teens Jailed after Dogs Stolen from Texarkana Animal Shelter

Police say three of the animals were pit bulls.
TEXARKANA, AR - Two juveniles are behind bars for allegedly stealing dogs from the city's animal shelter.

The teenagers are accused of breaking into the facility on Monday and taking 4 dogs, including 3 pit bulls. Police say they also stole vaccinations and dog food.

The juveniles have been charged with Commercial Burglary, 2 counts of Breaking or Entering, Theft & Criminal Mischief.

This case is still under investigation and more arrests are anticipated.
