Transformer Fire at Nuclear One Facility in Russellville

Reactor has been brought offline, no injuries reported.
Update (9:50 a.m.):
Entergy Arkansas officials say an early morning transformer fire at its Nuclear One facility in Russellville has been contained without injuries or threats to safety. They say oil is still burning but they are going to let it burn itself out. 

The fire led to Unit 2 being taken offline but Unit 1 remains online, says Entergy.

RUSSELLVILLE, AR - Entergy Arkansas officials say there is a fire at an auxiliary transformer at its Nuclear One site this morning.

There's no word yet on what time the blaze was discovered.

The power company says the nuclear reactor Unit 2 has been brought offline because of the fire.

No injuries have been reported.
