Update: NLR Man Facing Numerous Charges Stemming From Police Chase

Chase started on I-630, and ended when the suspect hit an innocent driver, causing them to flip.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Arkansas State Police is continuing its investigation into a police chase earlier today that left an innocent person injured.

Police took 21-year-old Roderick Tyrone Freeman, Jr., of North Little Rock, into custody, and he's has been charged with aggravated assault, hit and run, fleeing, DWI (drugs) and other charges.

He is currently being held at the Pulaski County Sheriffs Detention Facility.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A police chase on Interstate 630 ended with an innocent driver being taken to the hospital.

According to Arkansas State Police (ASP), the chase began around 11:15 Thursday morning on I-630 near Pine Street, and ended near Chester, when a man suspected of driving a stolen car hit another driver, causing them to flip.

The driver, who was trapped in the car, was extricated and taken to a local hospital for treatment. There is no current word on their condition.

The suspect, whose name has not yet been released, was taken into custody.

An ASP vehicle also sustained minor damage as a result of the incident.
