Cold slowly erodes, but rain returns to the picture late in the weekend. Low temperatures this morning were very cold with lows in the 10s and single numbers. The low of 17 set a record on the day beating the previous record of 19. Mainly clear skies tonight across the area this evening. Not quite as cold this evening with temperatures across the region are in the 20s and 30s East with 40s and 50s West. Temperatures across the State range from 20s Northeast to near 50 West. Clear and cold tonight. Sunshine tomorrow and milder with Southwest winds pushing highs into the 50s. A weak system brings a few rain showers Sunday and Monday. Warmer, more spring like temperatures for next week with highs reaching the 60s.

Sunday: Showers possible. Highs in the mid to upper 40s.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers possible. Highs in the low 50s.
Tuesday: Partly sunny with highs near 60.
Wednesday: Partly sunny and mild with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Thursday: Partly cloudy with highs in the mid 60s.
Friday: Mostly cloudy with showers possible. Highs in the 60s.
