Pine Bluff Police say 27-year-old William Brown is in jail after taking two nurses hostage shortly after 12:30pm Thursday.

Police were called to an apartment on Pleasant Ridge Road early Thursday morning for a disturbance. When police could not get anyone to answer the door, the SWAT team was called in.
