Crews performing pavement repairs on Interstate 530 will require a lane closure starting next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Highway crews drilling along two Arkansas interstates in the coming days will require the shutdown of lanes at times on both Interstate 530 in Pulaski County and I-30 in Saline County.

Arkansas State Police report four early morning crashes involving at least eight vehicles on the I-530 were set in motion by a drunk driver.
