Right now, the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department has reduced part of the M.L.K. Expressway in Hot Springs to one lane in each direction.

Today, Benton city leaders say there is bad soil underneath the roadbed and they are trying to figure out what to do. But until that is done, construction is stopped.

A section of Dry Branch Road (Road 31400), three miles west of Blue Springs and ¼ mile north of Road 31000, is closed for construction of a new bridge. The old bridge will be demolished and a new bridge built in its place.
