The Arkansas State baseball team knocked off the top-seeded Troy Trojans 3-2 in an elimination game Friday after in the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field on the campus of Louisiana-Lafayette.

UALR (28-28) pulled within a run on a solo homer by Blake Johnson in the top of the seventh, but FIU (26-31) held on for the 4-3 lead to eliminate the Trojans from the Sun Belt Tournament on Thursday at M.L. “Tigue” Moore Field.
