LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Five adults and three children escaped injury over the weekend when shots were fired at a home.

It happened shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday along Victoria Dr. in a neighborhood just south of Baseline Road.

According to the police report, officers found multiple shell casings in the street.

One of the adults inside when the shooting happened told police the gunfire erupted right after a relative had pulled into the driveway and another car drove up.

Someone inside the second car began firing at the relative’s vehicle, the witness said. The relative then backed his vehicle out of the driveway at a high rate of speed and drove away. He reportedly struck another car in the driveway, causing minor bumper damage.

Another vehicle parked outside the house had window damage from the gunshots, the report noted.
