UPDATE: Four injured in Faulkner County shooting, deputies say


Correction: The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office now says four people were injured, but three people were shot. The story has been corrected.


FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark.- The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office says four people were injured after a shooting Tuesday night.

Deputies were called to the Double Bees gas station in Greenbrier at 9:30 p.m.

The victims have been identified as Jonathan Barber, 22, Kriston Wise, 19, Memory Luttrel, 19, and a minor.

Deputies say they found another minor, who has now been identified as the shooter.

According to FCSO officials, the four victims went to the suspect’s home on Laramie Road and there was an argument.

Deputies say the suspect shot at the car, hitting three of the four people inside.

Barber, Wise, Luttrell and the juvenile victim were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Officials say Barber is in the hospital in critical condition, but stable.

Authorities say the juvenile victim is also in the hospital, but is stable.

Luttrell and Wise were released from the hospital, according to deputies.

According to the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, deputies responded to a call at 9:30 p.m. at the Double Bee gas station in Greenbier about a shooting.

Deputies say the shooting happened off of Highway 225 E in Faulkner County.

Investigators say the victims drove to the gas station to get help.

Officials say the victims were taken to the hospital to be treated for their wounds.

Investigators believe this is an isolated incident.
