Little Rock aggravated robberies

A quiet and peaceful night takes a turn for the worse when two armed men rob a local convenience store. A few hours later a similar crime took place at a hotel.

Little Rock police are busy following leads, hoping it takes them straight to the suspects.

Police say two men — both wearing hoodies — walked into the Exxon on Chicot Road. One was carrying either a shotgun or a rifle. The other had a small revolver.

Once inside, the men made their move, demanding cash from the store clerk.

Once they got it, they bolted but not before dropping some of the cash. The two suspects were last seen running north on Chicot Road.

Nearly four hours later, a similar crime took place, this time at the Roadway Inn and Suites on West 65th Street.

According to the police report, two men — both armed — entered the hotel and immediately ordered the clerk to the floor. One of the suspects then ran around the counter and raided the cash drawer.

Both men then left in an unknown direction.

Police aren’t sure if the two robberies are connected but if you know anything about either one — be sure to call Little Rock police.
