Little Rock Police investigate River Market robbery

Crime

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Little Rock Police are on the hunt for the person who held up two men playing Pokemon Go in the River Market District.

It happened on Monday along the Arkansas River.

Police say the robber asked the 19 and 25 year-olds if they wanted to buy any weed or pills, and when they said no, the suspect pulled out a gun and took off with the victim’s cell phone and the key to his car, but the car wasn’t stolen.

“When I talked to authorities, they said this the first robbery to happen in this area in a year,” says Dylan Kimbriel, who was one of the victims. “So, it’s not like people are just getting stuck up every day.”

If you know anything about the holdup, you are asked to call Little Rock Police.
