LITTLE ROCK, AR — Little Rock police are looking for two men responsible for attacking a woman in the River Market District.

They believe the suspects drove a silver Buick LeSabre appearing to be an early 2000 model. It happened around midnight on Friday at 2nd and River Market Avenue.

Officers say a man was lying in the woman’s car when she opened the door. She screamed and police say another guy jumped out of the LeSabre and held her to the ground until a witness came to help.

The motive for the attack is unknown, but the column in the car had been punched on the victim’s vehicle, but was not taken.

The incident has people, who visit the area, concerned.

Tiffany Kashala said, “That does make me worry a little bit because I haven’t heard anything like that about downtown, yeah that’s kind of worrisome.”

The suspects are described as African American men in their late 20’s. One is around 6’1″ and 200 pounds. The other is around 5’10” and 190 pounds.

Call Little Rock police if you have any additional information on what happened.
