Update: 1 dead in shooting north of Maumelle, 2 arrested

Pulaski Co. deputies are investigating case as a homicide.

Update (3/16/19 at 9:41a.m.)

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark.-- A man and a woman were arrested late Friday night for first degree murder. 

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office sent us this:" An Arrest was made on a homicide that occurred on 3/15/2019.   On 3/15/2019  at approximately 11:00pm. 

Dustin Moore and Cari Williams of North Little Rock were  arrested for First degree murder in the shooting of the victim Danny Bennett of North Little Rock, AR."

Moore's arrest and disposition report read: "On the above date and time the above suspect shot and killed Danny Bennett. After the suspect was read his Miranda rights the suspect stated he shot Bennett because they were fighting."

It continues: "The suspect stated Bennett did not have a gun or knife during the altercation. The suspect stated he and Cari Williams went to Bennett's residence to check on a 4-wheeler. The suspect stated Williams went around a privacy fence to look at a 4-wheeler and that is when Bennett confronted them."

Update: 

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. - The shooting victim has now died from their injuries, the Pulaski County Sheriff says. Deputies are now investigating the case as a homicide. 

Deputies say the homeowner came home and found the shooting victim bleeding out in their driveway.

No further details after the victim or suspect(s) have been released.

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. - One is in critical condition following a Friday night shooting north of Maumelle, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office. 

Deputies say the shooting happened on Overstreet Road just after 7 p.m. 

The shooting victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
