Update: Triple homicide victims found in burned mobile home identified

EARLE, Ark. – The homicide victims found in a burned mobile home in Crittenden County on Monday have been identified by authorities. 

The victims were identified as Kendrick Jones, 42, Chassidy Brown, 25, and Josiah Brown, 5.

EARLE, Ark (localmemphis.com) – Three people, including a child, have been found dead in a burned mobile home in Crittenden County.

The call came in shortly before 1 a.m. Monday to 1117 Bailey Street.

According to a family friend, investigators have said that two adults were shot prior to the fire. A five-year-old inside the home is believed to have died from smoke inhalation. 

A neighbor has told Local 24 News’ Dave Detling that he heard gunshots on Bailey Street off Highway 64.

“Round about midnight I was up watching TV and I heard about 10 shots prior to all the action here with the police cars, ambulances and fire trucks going up that road there,” said Larry Parnell, neighbor.

The state fire marshal will be inspecting the scene to see if arson played a role in the deaths.
