LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Fearless Friday spotlight is shining on the Beebe Badgers.
Beebe went 4-6 last season for the second straight year.
They also missed the playoffs for the second straight season.
This year Beebe returns a lot of starters with a lot of experience.
The Badgers are also changing their offense from the Dead-T to give their running back more room to run.
The Badgers believe if they can stay healthy, all their experience will lead to more wins.
“We’ve got the entire offensive line back from last year and we’ve got the entire defensive line. In fact, we got everybody back from defense except our corner, so that’s really been a nice thing to have. Big thing like they been saying, we got to stay healthy. Not a lot of depth but if we can stay healthy we feel like we’ll have a shot,” says Head Coach John Shannon.
“Our class, the one I’ve played with since ever, we stepped it up the whole way. We have all eleven back on the field this year so it should be really good but we got to have help from the underclassmen. They’re going to help us too,” adds Alex Boyce, Quarterback.
“Our sophomore season, we came in and we had like ten or eleven sophomores starting and we have been playing together since. I know me and Boyce over there we’ve been playing football together since the fifth grade. We’ve all stayed together,” says Noah Jolly, Guard.
