JOB TITLE: Hatchery - Maintenance

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

TASKS:

  • 6 months of verifiable maintenance experience
  • Must have computer knowledge
  • Must possess mechanical skills
  • General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production
  • Must be able set up, adjust and break down hatchery machinery
  • Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system
  • Must be able to read and write where required
  • Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 8-10 hours
  • Must be willing to complete all required training for the job
  • Must be willing to accept and carry through on request and directions given

  • Must be able to work the following schedule: Wednesday night thru Saturday night and at end of month off one week and then come back and work Sunday night thru Wednesday night - rotation each month
