Family Health: Exercise away lingering COVID symptoms?

KLRT Family Health

A new study suggests that exercise may help COVID-19 patients recover from long-lasting symptoms.

British researchers followed 30 patients in a six-week rehabilitation course which included exercise classes twice a week.

The majority of the patients were hospitalized, and 14-percent required mechanical ventilation.

The scientists found a “statistically significant improvement” in their exercise capacity, fatigue, overall well-being, and cognition.
