Family Health: Internet use makes older adults happier, study finds

Research reveals older adults who frequently used the internet during the lockdown were happier.

The UK study included nearly 35-hundred seniors.

It showed those who used the internet at least once a day reported fewer depression symptoms.

They also had a higher quality of life than their peers who rarely logged on.

Using the internet as a way to connect with family and friends was especially beneficial while using it to search for health information had the opposite effect.
