While most 13-year-old boys are worried about getting through middle school, one Arkansan is leaving his mark in the theatre world. 13-year-old Aidan Eslinger is preparing for the debut of his third stage play called Sister Secrets, which he wrote and directed.

The Aidan Eslinger Company website described Sister Secrets as an “adult stage play about five sisters and their mother, who run a hair salon.” The mother’s dying wish is for her five daughters to keep her hair salon up and running. In order for the sisters to fulfill her wish, they must deal with past issues, reveal their darkest secrets, and try to forgive one another, according to the website.

Aidan has written and directed three stage plays. He wrote his first play when he was eight years old.

You can See Sister Secrets on Saturday at 5 p.m.at the UCA Ida Waldran Auditorium. Tickets are $15 at the door.
