AT THE MOVIES: Film Critic reviews ‘The Glorias’, ‘The Ides of March’

Good Day

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Film Critic Michael Cook joined Good Day Arkansas to review two films that are on Amazon Prime.

“The Glorias” is based on Gloria Steinem’s autobiographical book, “My Life on the Road.” Amazon Prime describes “The Glorias” as a film that “weaves a compelling, nontraditional tapestry of one of the most inspirational and legendary figures in modern history. The movie stars Julianne Moore, Alicia Vikander, and Timothy Hutton.

Since we are in the political season, Cook reviewed the 2011 film “The Ides of March.” This film is about an idealistic campaign staffer who discovers a secret that could alter the race for his candidate during a brutal presidential primary season.
