LITTLE ROCK, AR – The chances continue to skyrocket that the next American Idol could come from Arkansas.
Idol producers telling FOX16 eight people from right here at home have already punched their ticket to Hollywood and there could be more to come.
Tonight, Maumelle’s Kenneth Gaddie, who goes by Woody, won the judge’s approval in Salt Lake City.
He let FOX16 hang out with him tonight at a watch party at his house.
“Arkansas tested Amercan Idol approved, I’m going to Hollywood,” Woody said.
Make sure you wake up tomorrow morning with FOX16 Good Day.
Woody Gaddie will join Greg Dee and Deedra Wilson to talk about his Idol experience so far.
Woody isn’t the only one who wowed the judges. El Dorado’s LeBryant Crew is heading to Hollywood as well.
But he tried out when the Idol bus tour made a stop in Little Rock, then took the big stage in front of the judges in Salt Lake City.
While he got three yesses from the judges tonight, he knows this is only the beginning.
“It felt so good, trying to make it somewhere in the music industry,” Crew said. “Showed my hard work that I put in and the hard work that I will have to put in. It doesn’t stop with the golden ticket.”
You can catch another all-new episode of American Idol Thursday at 7 p.m.
