LOS ANGELES, CA – After 15 seasons, the famous FOX reality competition series American Idol is coming to an end.
FOX made the announcement Tuesday morning. Idol’s host Ryan Seacrest made the following statement regarding the show’s announcement of their last season:
“American Idol has been a big part of my life for so long, it’s frankly hard to imagine it without it. It’s been a remarkable journey, and I feel very fortunate to have been part of a show that made television history in countless ways. It’s a show about chasing and fulfilling dreams, and truth be told, it helped some of my own dreams come true too.
According to Seacrest’s Twitter account, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick J.r will all be back at the judges table for the final season.
