CORDOVA, TN — The last of 70 people indicted in Operation Delta Blues is now in custody.
The Federal Marshal’s Service reports they arrested Milton Johnson in Cordova, Tennessee Saturday morning.
A federal indictment charges Johnson with taking part in an alleged drug trafficking ring.
Johnson had been a fugitive since 2011, according to the Marshals.
The Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force, along with the Gulf Coast Regional Task Force, and agents of the F.B.I took Johnson into custody around 9:30 a.m. after an extensive investigation.
Milton Johnson will be brought to Little Rock from Tennessee, where he is expected to go before a federal judge Monday morning.
“Operation Delta Blues” investigated allegations of an extensive drug ring centered in the Helena-West Helena area.
