Update: El Dorado Police Arrest Two in Shooting Death of Juvenile

EL DORADO, AR — Two suspects are facing capital murder charges following the murder of a 12-year-old in El Dorado.

El Dorado Police say Shaquille Green turned himself in just before 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.

A second suspect, 24 year-old Patrick Rogers turned himself in early Friday morning.

Police say the 12-year-old was hit by a stray bullet Thursday evening while on the porch of his grandmother’s home in the area of Louisiana Avenue and East Cook Street.

Rogers and Green are both facing six charges including capital murder and aggravated assault.

El Dorado Police say an ongoing dispute in that neighborhood led to the shooting.

The 12-year-old victim was not involved.

Police say the victim is a juvenile that was shot at a home at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and E. Cook Street.

Police were called to the area just before 7:00 p.m.
