3 Juveniles Arrested in Benton Burglary Case

BENTON, AR – Officers with the Benton Police Department have arrested three juveniles in connection with a burglary earlier this month.

Police responded to Ambient Minerals on 705 Bird St. on report of a burglary on February 9.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the business owner who told them his store had been broken into. Police were able to gather evidence and details on the items stolen.

On Feb. 21, officers responded to a call and were able to recover a laptop computer that had been stolen from the business on Feb. 9.

Based on the stolen laptop that was found and evidence linking them to the crime scene, three juvenile suspects were identified and arrested. Each juvenile was charged with Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property, and turned over to juvenile authorities. Due to the suspects’ ages, pictures or other information about them are not being released.
