30 Mailboxes Vandalized in White County, Man Arrested

WHITE COUNTY, AR – The White County Sheriff’s Office has made one arrest and is searching for more suspects in a mailbox vandalism case.

On Tuesday, the White County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Blue Hole Road in Beebe, regarding over 30 mailboxes being damaged or destroyed.

The Sheriff’s office is asking that if you were a victim of this incident, and haven’t filed a report or spoken with them, to please contact the White County Sheriff’s Office at (501) 279-6279.

The Sheriff’s office says they intend to request restitution for the victims, from the suspects. The investigation is still undergoing and they encourage anyone with information to come forward.

After the incident, Sheriff’s deputies were able to locate and arrest one of the suspects, Justin Ackerman, 21, of McRae.

We do not believe that Ackerman acted alone in this crime. Ackerman is set to appear in the White County District Court on November 6.

Refusal to Submit Bond: $ 425.00
Leaving Scene of Accident Bond: $ 400.00
Criminal Mischief 2nd deg Bond: $8250.00
