Arkansas Literary Festival


The 16th annual Arkansas Literary Festival is April 25-28 at Library Square in the River Market and other central Arkansas venues. Most events are free.

There are films, children’s events, poetry, and more presented by around 60 authors.

Elizabeth Minchilli, author of The Italian Table, will lead a cooking workshop at Eggshells on Saturday, April 27 at 4:00 pm. The cost is $15.

The festival also features a makers fair, concert at Four Quarter Bar, Friday, April 26, at 10:30 pm.  The cost is $5.

Tickets are also available for Author! Author! The party will be held April 26, 7:00-9:00 pm.

Little Readers Rock is presented in partnership with Junior League of Little Rock. 

Activities and performances include storytimes, yoga, the Kinders, a live version of The Emperor’s New Clothes, the Heifer Village Urban Farm, and Grow Your Own Beanstalk.
