ATF: $10,000 reward offered in Ark. store gun thefts

PRAIRIE GROVE, Ark. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is offering a $5,000 reward, along with a $5,000 reward from the National Shooting Sports Foundation for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible for the burglary, according to an ATF press release.

On Friday, February, 15, around 3 a.m. the Ace Hardware Store on West Buchanan Street was broken into and at least three suspects stole dozens of guns, according to Captain Jeff O’Brien with Prarie Grove Police.

ATF reported that the store was broken into again, before 5 a.m. and four suspects were involved in stealing additional guns.

The exact number of guns taken has not been released by police. 

Prairie Grove Police is in communication with local, state, and federal authorities.
