Benton Man Pleads Not Guilty in Connection to LR Double Homicide

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A Benton man charged in the Friday shooting deaths of two men has been ordered held on $750,000 bond.

Matthew Chism, 26, pleaded not guilty in Little Rock District Court Monday to First Degree Murder  charges and a charge of Committing a Terroristic Act.

The arrest affidavit was ordered to be sealed. 

The deadly shooting happened on MLK Blvd. near the intersection with Roosevelt Road.
