BENTON, AR – Police have arrested a man for not complying with registration and reporting requirements for the state’s sex offender registry.

Bobby Poe, 45, is accused of violating the registration law.

He was picked up by police after they determined he was living at a different address than the one previously provided by him. Failure to notify law enforcement of a change of address is a violation of the state sex offender registration law and an arrest warrant was issued for Poe.

Poe was recently apprehended without incident and is charged with Failure to Comply with Registration and Reporting Requirements.

The Benton Police Department says its detectives aggressively maintain an up to date registry of sex offenders living within the city. Anyone with questions about the addresses of sex offenders living in the city are encouraged to visit the BNPD’s website (click here) for information, pictures, and a map of those currently residing there.
