LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is investigating after a body is pulled from the Arkansas River early Tuesday.

Deputies were called to the scene near River Mountain Park shortly after midnight.

That’s where a fisherman told them he had found the body in an area described by the PCSO as a low water creek on the north side of the river by the I-430 bridge.

The PCSO Water Patrol Unit was called in to remove the body from the water.

The body has been taken to the State Crime Lab for identification and to determine the cause of death.
