UPDATE: Victim identified in homicide at house of man shot and killed by ASP

UPDATE:

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The victim in this homicide has been identified as 40-year-old Shavone Deshia Williams.

This investigation is still ongoing.

UPDATE:

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Around 11:27 PM, Sunday evening, officers responded to 2409 Howard Street after receiving a call that a dead body had been found at this residence.

Officers with the Little Rock Police Department and MEMS responded and found the body of a dead woman under piles of clothing inside the house.

Officers checked the house and no one else was inside.

Officers secured the residence and marked the house and surrounding area as a crime scene.

Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and interviewed the person who discovered the body.

Preliminary evidence indicates this to be a Homicide and that the victim had been there only a short time.

Detectives later learned this residence had been occupied by Aloysius Keaton, Sr.

Mr. Keaton had been the subject of an Arkansas State Police investigation after he was involved in an Aggravated Robbery (Car Jacking), Pursuit, and Deadly Force incident, on June 27, 2020, at the intersection of Interstate 30 and Roosevelt Rd.

This investigation is ongoing and next of kin notification is pending positive identification of
the victim.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Little Rock Police are investigating after a body was found in a home on the 2400 block of Howard Street.

Little Rock police say at this time, this is a death investigation.
